Main responsibilities:

1. Ownership and responsibility for, operational output, managing absenteeism and individuals & team

performance.

2. Drive your team to achieve and exceed targets, working in a culture that promotes and encourages

lean thinking and continuous improvement at all times.

3. Ensuring all aspects of operations are adequately resourced and scheduled with the correct skill

levels to deliver output and quality objectives.

4. Responsible for health & safety in the production area, fully supported by the health & safety

teams. ?Promote good housekeeping through the introduction of 5S.

5. Enforce a quality culture, right first time. ?Ensure production schedules are maintained through

continuous monitoring and maintaining of production records.

6. Conduct Performance appraisal for direct reports & ensure it is done for the rest of the production

areas.

7. Ensure quality and service standards to customers are met



Job requirements:

8 years working experience and knowledge of manufacturing systems, 5S, SPC, Kaizen, 6-Sigma, lean manufacturing systems, driving improvement teams.



?Experience with optical electronics or related industry is preferable



Excellent standard of written and spoken English is essential
